Fireball: Best practice benchmark
Urbiotica’s Smartcity technology has been actively tested in Barcelona as part of the ‘sensorization pilots’ promoted by the IMI – Urban Habitat unit of the Barcelona City Council. After several months operating, these pilots are now recognized as best practices’ reference for the digital infrastructures deployment task, within the general roadmap of a SmartCity development. Such references are crucial for EU funded projects such as FIREBALL (http://www.fireball4smartcities.eu/), which is devoted to Future Internet Research and Experimentation in the framework of Living Labs and Smart Cities.
