The project

The deployment of a parking sensor network, that are part of our Mobility Solutions, for the city of Nice (France). The project, headed by the City Council of Nice through SEMIACS, company managing parking areas, is developed, in collaboration with Think Global, in order to reduce the influx of cars to downtown.

Citizens will know at any time the availability of parking spaces on the Internet, smart-phones and signposting on the streets.

Dynamic pricing

The system will enable the administration to apply dynamic rates depending on the availability in each zone.

Decongestion

It will encourage the use of parking on the periphery causing a reduction in traffic congestion at the city center.
